Shame on you, MSNBC.
That station has been far the worst at showing the films and speakers of the DNC.

They are obsessed with their own punditry and, quite frankly, it's getting old.

Disclaimer: FoxNews doesn't exist in my world, so I have no idea what their coverage has been.

18. I just flipped over to see if MSNBC was covering Kerry, the film, etc.
Nope.

Trust me, I'm all over CSPAN, but I'm saddened that MSNBC's coverage has been so much worse than CNN's.

23. No. And that is what primarily set me off. Not showing that was an insult to veterans.
And I won't stand for that shit.

3. I agree
I was surprised that even CNN was showing part of Kerry's speech and the Spielberg video and MSNBC had none of it.

11. In their defense...
Punditry is the product that they sell.

If you want the unvarnished coverage of the speakers. C-Span is the place to be.

22. Do you understand that "most people" are watching this crap? That's the point..
Know what the enemy is doing.

Your friends at work, your family this Labor Day weekend, people you pass on the street...if they're paying the slightest bit of attention, this is what they're seeing. Being ignorant of it doesn't help any of us. Being aware make you educated, and being educated allows you to effectively rebut the idiots who parrot what they hear some used-car salesman cum pundit spewing on the "news" stations owned by defense contractors and self-interested media conglomerates.

Tuning out only helps you be that much less aware of what is going on in the world. The lies told by the media still exist in a certain reality all their own, because it's all many Americans ever hear.

14. Yup. CNN has been guilty of that on occasion too.
They love to hear themselves talk so much they literally don't show the show.

17. I am satisfied with CNN - at least in the evenings
MSNBC has been trying to be a news channel but is caught in the partisanship of all of them including, yes, Olbermann. In that sense, they are just like Fox.

26. Pat Buchanan just made a bigger ass of himself than usual, if that's
possible. He showed that he's not paying any attention and just spewing out his ass with uninformed opinion. He said that none of the speakers have given any "red meat". Obviously, he's only watched those speeches that MSNBC has chosen to show, and he had heard none of Kucinish, Schweitzer, Kerry or any of the others.
