Will Bush do the Presidential thingy next week, or not...

It has been widely predicted that Hurricane Gustav will make landfall somewhere in the gulf next week, during the same time Bush s scheduled to be speaking at the GOP convention. Will Bush do the presidential thing and stay in the white house to make sure that the federal responses to Gustav is being handled correctly, like a president should do. Or will he decide to go to the convention where he can give a speech and then get shit faced with his base. I think I have answered my own question.

The funny thing is that at least one GOP, Gov. Schwarzenegger has decided he might have to skip the convention to concentrate of the budget crisis in his state. Somehow I don't think Bush will do the same.

1. He will go mountain biking in Wyoming, get shit-faced, and fall down

Then get back on Air Force One while waving furiously to a grizzly bear.

And I am sure there will be many photos of our intoxicated commander and chief at the convetion.
