Oh, c'mon Barack: is Mark Warner chopped liver?
You mentioned Michelle, and the Clintons, but there was also a keynote address, even though not inspiring, perhaps, as the one from 2004... Not to mention Brian Schwitzer.

tsk tsk.

2. I think that he mentioned the most important characters.....
and yes, they are.

Mark Warner not so much.

Cause then, he could have mentioned John Kerry, Schweitzer, etc, etc.....

15. Too conservative for my blood
he's to the right of Obama.

In California he's considered conservative and boring
but needed for Virginia.

6. There's no way Obama could name everyone
He mentioned his wife because she's his wife (besides giving a great speech) and the Clintons because Bill is the last Dem president and Hillary was the last person standing as an opponent in the primaries.

No offense was meant to Warner or the others.

16. No, not everyone. But a keynote address?
Especially since such were the starting point for both Bill Clinton and he?

But then, again, the speech was unremarkable so, yes, not memorable.

No biggie.

9. He was going off the cuff
He didn't mention Kennedy either. He pretty much mentioned everybody that spoke during the 1-hour coverage on the broadcast networks.

14. Seems pretty obvious
Wouldn't it be nice if people thought this hard about ways to counter the media.
