He touched on something that I think should become a go-to retort to the McCain attack of experience.

Bill himself brought this point up in his speech, saying that in 92 he also had his doubters who wondered if he had enough experience.

I think Obama and his surrogates should begin using this in responses, repeatedly.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I liked Biden's speech. I just think Clinton hit upon something that is at the core of the McCain attack.

9. Kerry, Biden, Clinton ... in that order.
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 12:27 AM by TahitiNut
Clinton certainly takes high style points but the degree of difficulty (content) wasn't anywhere nearly high enough. Bill Clinton is the most gifted politician in recent memory, and can deliver a stump speech like nobody can. Somebody should've put a horseshoe in his boxing glove.

13. Wow, No wonder I agree with you a lot
Clinton is the most gifted orator I have ever seen, he almost convince me ,at one time, to question is.
and I did.

He could almost convince me that I'm not really here, if he wanted to.
He can charm the rust off a horseshoe.

But none of his speeches bring me to tears.
Kerry did, and Biden did and even Hillary's did.

Great night, I will now keep my mouth shut for a while
which I have done lately on that issue.
