I may rail on Bill Clinton all the time, but tonight he was pretty incredible.
I don't know what it is about Bill Clinton, but there is something magical about the way he puts together his words. I wonder if he did Hillary's speech, or Biden's speech if he could make it as good as his speech tonight, or if it is the crafting of words that makes him so impressive.

So for any of you who said I wouldn't be happy no matter what he did, please count me as more than happy and danged impressed.

1. He is a great speaker
like Obama it is a big part of why he is so popular.

Sadly he goes a little overboard a little too often and plays fast and lose with the facts.

He was great tonight to be sure.

4. I didn't think he went overboard in his speech. I thought it was pretty perfect.
Now if you are talking about the campaign then yes, he went a bit overboard.

I'm glad he decided to challenge Obama for "best speaker ever award".

2. I bitched him out here a couple of weeks ago but I admit now I was wrong.
I'm so glad he convinced me to register to vote the first time he ran for President.

3. I was amazed at how good his speech was. He didn't have to do that, honestly.
But he did. He rallied the troops like only he could.

6. Yeah, he went beyond the best I hoped for.
And I'm happy he rallied the troops, but I'm more impressed that he rallied me! I'm a hard nut for him to crack.

7. Me too. He totally won me over.
My jaw dropped with some of the stuff he said. I felt he expressed his support of Obama even more strongly than Hillary did! Not to slight her efforts in the least, just to say he seemed even MORE emphatic.
I think he wanted to shut the MSM up for good.

8. Most people aren't capable of delivering it like he did.
Its not a slight to Hillary or anyone else to point it out. I'm hoping Obama can keep up with him. If Obama's is better than Bill I will be floating on air.

10. I hope so.
Gotta admit, I see more emotion on TV than I've been feeling so far. I want to join the party.

Guess its hard to get into the mood when I'm supposed to be working instead of goofing off.

15. His son kind of did, but I had to leave in the middle of Biden's speech!
I had to attend a meeting :(

And I was supposed to be preparing for it too.

I thought it was cute how moved Biden was after Beau gave the intro. You can tell he is such a Dad. Gosh I'm beginning to really fall for the guy.

12. Hillary was OK, Michelle was OK, what I saw of Biden was OK.
Bill was better than OK.

That is how I grade it on the DKF scale of emotional reaction.

13. I think that Hillary delivered her speech so well it has to be straight from her heart. The Clintons...

restored their gravitas this week and the world will applaud them for this. They both made ever single Democrat proud this week and possibly even some Republican voters.

17. I certainly can't fault her for her sincerety or anything like that.
But I thought she was a little more natural in her speeches towards the end of the primary season. She got back to her earlier speaking style that kinda drove me batty earlier.

26. That was the Bill who drove the Reublicans over the edge
because, after listening to speeches like that, they knew they couldn't match him.
