Not that I have anything against the song. It's just that it's what I was hearing, being performed by her in the background that awful Tuesday in 2004 when the TeeVee broke to the gathering in Boston and I could just tell from the vibe in the crowd that the early-exit-poll optimism reported earlier was premature.

I went from nervously optimistic to depressed at that very moment, and the depression didn't lift until... what is it today, Thursday, now?
