McCain the Hothead
This is the next message that I would personally like to see given major exposure in the media...at least through a "MoveOn" ad if not one from the Obama campaign. The voters need to know that he has a temper issue, and they should be asked to consider who they want to be awakened at 3 am....the ticking bomb McCain or the calm and collected Obama. (Of course, McCain may be already up-- on his third trip of the night to the restroom, right?) Seriously, this is an issue that matters, and needs to be a major topic, imho.

Ron

1. I think the Alzheimer's angle is better myself.
Some view the anger as a strength, not me, but some.

Nobody wants a President with dementia.

3. So, what about...

"John McCain: the White House or the Nursing Home? You Decide!"

...hey, I thought it was funny!

Edit: On second thought, he'd need at least seven nursing homes.

2. McCain as president would give him the opportunity for major paybacks.
I shudder to think of that. I do think that Obama will campaign McCain into the ground and that the stress will either cause him to blowup or to meltdown in memory loss, maybe during the debates which would be a good showcase for his shortcomings.

6. And it isn't just PTSD from his years as a POW...
One of the reasons he didn't do well in the Navy was because of his temper and his impulsive, reckless behavior. He himself acknowledged that he had trouble with the "regimentation," that he broke lots of rules, and that he drank and "caroused" a lot. He seems to have had issues with authority, perhaps because his father was an Admiral. It is this trait, I think, that made him defiant when he was POW, rather than a determined patriotism.

BTW, I have seen articles about him from just before he was shot down in Vietnam that refer to his prematurely gray hair (he was about 29 or 30). I wonder if this is indicative of anything.
