I laid down on the couch prepared to catch the final primetime speeches, then next thing I know I was waking up about an hour ago... WTF?

I don't even remember turning the tv off. Oh well, thank God for youtube.

I cried when his son spoke.

I was impressed when Joe came out of the gate.

I missed most of Bidens speech, and the Obama drop-in!!!

3. LOL
That's my MO! I watch a show & then fall asleep during the last 10 minutes.

Clinton was good, but I thought Kerry was better. Kerry & Biden both made a slip & called McCain "Bush." Both caught it & got a little laugh over it. I mean really, who can tell the difference between them?

My new bumper sticker: McCain: Like Bush but older.

5. My trick for not falling asleep is to watch the first few innings of Yankees vs Red Sox
It's that bad! I get all pissed off by the Sox trampling the hopeless Yanks that I could never fall asleep! :nuke:

6. Usually I try coffee
But my mutual hatred of those two teams could possibly keep me awake, lol. Hell, try being a Mariner fan, we have our own special hell. :)

10. I must have dozed off
because I missed most of John Kerry's speech and the Uncle Charlie moment. Would love to see a pic.

11. It's OK, I did that in 1988 watching the convention
when he spoke for (apparently) over an hour. Legend has it ( I don't know if it's true) that he got his biggest applause when he said "In closing..."
He has become a better speaker since then.
