Has ANYONE at the convention brought up the FACT
that the nominee from the "family values party" cheated on his wife and left her for a younger richer model? Don't think for a second that the repugs wouldnt slam the democratic nominee with that if the conditions were reversed.
Even after last nite, I still believe McSame has gotten off easy. Yes he got hit on policy, but where is the blood? Is the powder being kept dry AGAIN? Or, once again, are we just too nice to hit them where it hurts?
I haven't seen every speech, so I may have missed it.

3. When I hear the meme 'family values' I always ask:
Whose family? The MANSON family?

I ask that too when people say they want to go back
to 'biblical' marriage.
I ask: Whose biblical marriage?
The patriarchs?
Abraham 'gave' his wife Sarah to 2 kings to save his ass from murder.
Jacob's marriage? he had 2 wives and at least 2 concubines.
Lot's wife looked back, turned in salt, and he hid out in a
cave, constantly drunk, sleeping with his daughters..

Oh I could go on, but you get the message.
The problem is, most low-information voters believe
anything the 'authorities' say, and fear questioning anything.

4. A Dem Convention is not the place to discuss McSame's Infidelities ...
Totally inappropriate.
The Convention should be a HAPPY event.
Be patient. The mud-slingling will come.

6. It's on everyone's lips EXCEPT at the podium
First, the Republicans can always bring up Edwards or Monica, even if
those marriages held, where Republicans ditch their wives for newer
models. Second, it's the ever-present dark shadow hanging over McBush.
Always present, lurking. The unspoken follow-up to those seven houses
is--whose money paid for them?

7. The pukes are blowing their entire wad right now
and there are still 2 months to go before the election. I would expect that the Dems (and supporting groups) will roll back their sleeves and get down and dirty (a notch at a time) come Sept.

I doubt Obama would do it himself and I don't think that any of the current sitting Senators (including Biden) would go low on McCain either, but others (e.g., MoveOn) could.

If you haven't seen this year's series of Doctor Who with Donna (Catherine Tate) as companion, DON'T watch the following! If you have...

9. No, I haven't seen this years series.....
but, as a long time Doctor Who viewer I thought this was a very appropriate rendition of McSame.
I really miss Billie Piper as companion. They had lots of electricity. Is Ms Tate any good?

10. Oh, it's more perfect than you could possibly imagine.

When you see this year's series that aired on the BBC (not on Sci-Fi yet as far as I know), you will see. Billie was great and actually I've loved each companion after her. Martha was completely kick-ass and so is Donna. I am a huge fan of the show though so hey, I may just be biased. ;)

Definitely worth a watch though... even if only to get this joke when you finally get around to the episode.

Do yourself a favor though and absolutely don't watch that video... spoilers abound!

You can tell, it's geared more towards the kiddies... but I still find it entertaining. :)
