How about a moratorium on "John McCain is a good and honorable man"
What's the point? Republicans don't even like him that much, his policies and his campaign tell us the opposite is true and we should know by now that Americans don't give you credit for taking the high road.

2. Because when McCain starts throwing slime at Obama
people will see that Obama is the good and honorable man and McCain is not.

4. I am all for this. He lost his honor completely when...
...he embraced Rove and Rove's people, the same people who slimed him about his very own daughter in 2000. That is the height of cowardice and sleaze, in my opinion.

5. I agree. It's one thing for Obama to say it, it's another to have every
single Democrat say it. Someone needs to come out and say what a fucking rat bastard he is--only Harry Reid came close.

7. I'll say what I said in another thread..
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 09:07 AM by 1corona4u
I think the Obama camp wanted him(Joe) to say that...

he(Joe) said it on Saturday as well. It lends credibility to Joe, that he knows what he's talking about with McCain. How better to get the point across that someone is not right for the country, than to say you know them well...

I hope that made sense...

8. I have no problem with that, it was Joe being sincere, which is what he does best
Obama needs to cut it out; he has no relationship with the guy anyway.

9. The point -- Dems don't do Character Attacks. They attack ideas and policies
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 10:51 AM by emulatorloo
Leave the slime tactics to McCain and his Karl Rove Protege.

One of the things Obama is running on is ending the personal attacks and divisiveness in Washington. Attack ideas, not people. It is the Bush way to call all those who do not agree "not patriotic, cut and runners, etc etc etc."
