Rasmussen daily GE graph for 8/28/08 - Obama 45, McCain 44 (O up 1)
With leaners, Obama 47, McCain 47 (O ? 1)

Rasmussen says that the daily polling shows Obama improving and predicts a modest convention bounce. Obama dropped after choosing Biden, but Rasmussen says that was because the veep wasn't Hillary.

3. I'm ready for that
After the first night of the DNC, I read that the Republicans expected Obama to get a 15-point bounce from the convention. Let's hope they're right.

4. I expect maybe a 3-4 point lead tomorrow
And growing 1-2 points each day for a couple days. Sound reasonable?

5. That wouldn't be a comfortable margin
Dukakis lost the huge lead he had over Old George, right after the Democratic convention.

Of course, that happened during a period when he wasn't campaigning or responding to attacks. This time, the Dem team will be out there, I hope doing their own attacking. So the same thing surely won't happen.
