Here in Denver, the buzz and city is electric!
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 10:38 AM by kstewart33
Just heard on Denver progressive talkradio (AM 760), that the city is advising everyone who's going to Invesco to be there by 1 pm. Busses are running people there until 2 pm. Don't drive - bus, take the light rail, bike, walk - anything but drive.

I-25, the interstate that runs through Denver and along Invesco is being closed this afternoon along that stretch. Major streets (Colfax Ave., etc.) running anywhere near Invesco are closing in a few hours.

Geez louise, this is exciting here. Hope you all are pumped too!

On edit: Just checked today's weather forecast. 0% chance of rain through midnight.

1. I hope and pray security is ready for that many people.
I thought it was packed last night. I'd love to be there. I just cannot imagine the crowd at Invesco or the excitement! Can't wait to see it. I've put hubby on warning that the den TV and puter are MINE tonight. He's got the job of head dog walker and bedtime buddy for our son.

2. Oh man, that is exciting
I can't wait to hear the roar from inside, and maybe outside, Mile High Stadium. I hope they have big screens set up outside for overflow!
