How's the weather in Denver?
I ask mainly because of the Focus on the Family nut-sack Stuart Shepard (more info here http://www.rightpundits.com/?p=1874 ) who was encouraging people to pray for torrential rain on the night of Obama's big speech.

From what I can find online, the forecast for tonight is clear!

Just wondering if anyone in or near Denver could give a first hand report.

1. Firsthand report -- looking out my front door downtown.
Sunny skies, highs in the mid-80s, zero rain this evening.

:hi:

3. Oh they are gonna get torrential rain - but it ain't gonna be when & where they want
Perhaps their vanity that God would purposely cause a thunderstorm over a convention of democrats has enraged him to send not 1 but TWO hurricanes barreling towards our country.

Oh the vanity that God is worried about the weather for a political speech.

6. They all look good!
Man, I wish a ginormous, unexpected meteor shower would turn the sky into a natural fireworks show just as Obama wraps up his speech!

How would the fundies spin THAT?

11. Something like the English viewed the eclipse in 1066. They believed
it signaled the end of their reign and helped William the Conqueror win the day.

7. Here is your hour by hour forecast.

Today is supposed to be the only day in the current 10 day forecast period with a 0% chance of precipitation. I guess God was not listening to the fundies.

8. That's some awesome shit, right there!
If there was a god, he would probably laugh in the fundies' general direction!

...and do lots of things to deliberately piss them off.

9. One problem I can see - when you live north of a hurricane coming
into the Gulf you often get rain - when is Gustav expected to hit shore?

12. Hot? 80 Degrees, Drink Lots of Water
Hope folks dress in layers. For those people from out of town, drink a lot of water due to the altitude and the heat, and you'll be fine.
