And then youtube the stuff I miss cuz I'm w/ my son for a good part of the evening, so I miss the early stuff.

In 2004 folks were tivo'ing that stuff and putting up their own avi's and mp3s. I grabbed that stuff for my iPod. Kept me pumped up for the rest of the election. I kept listening to Obama and Sharpton's speech over and over.

Not so this time :(

This morning I went to that very site to look for his speech (it was not up last night) the only videos offered on demand from last night were Clinton and Biden. I thought that was rather odd. Attitude you sensed was for the DNC not for you. Please accept my apology.

I asked around this morning and someone directed me to youtube. I guess the DNC twigged to the fact that there is a lot of interest in watching a speech that many networks just blabbed over last night. I'm in Toronto so I didn't have access to cspan. I did have on the demconvention feed on the computer but I can't watch that from the couch and I can't sit for very long at the desk so I missed some of it last night.

11. Not meaning to rain on your parade

But the use of Silverlight leaves me and my wife (older Mac, can't run the Mac equivalent because she has a PPC chip) out in the cold. I'm pretty irritated about it, and since so few people are posting thier own files, and I have no means to record the stuff live myself, annoys me.

Its not personal, I'm just frustrated at the situation.
