It's being floated as McCain directly speaking to Barack. This is oh so PR and PC. He's going to personally congratulate Barack on his nomination as the first AA and the special relevance to MLK and that speech. He will then say to Barack, "we are now going to embark on our campaigns and may the best man win." or something to that affect. This (in McCain's head) will "smooth out" any rough spots and they're just two guys running for Prez. McCain thinks people will just love him for this gesture and gain him ground. Trust me, I win at the track...
