The only sound bite the repubs can probably glean from this is the "cut and run" part, do you think this will be a problem? Personally, I think it would be best explained as the fact that in 2004 there wasn't even a government, NOW they have one, and they want us to get out (as intimated by the Iraqi P.M.). This will help to differentiate the conditions without giving the McCain campaign ammo to identify his response as a validation of the surge (but rather a significant shift in the political development of iraq, that's progressed to the point where they want to stand on their own (as stated by their P.M.'s de facto endorsement of his plan) Your thoughts?
