before the conventions, Obama and McCain were tied in Gallup 45-45. Now, its Thursday and Obama is up by 6, and Gallup is a 3 day rolling average so Obama got a 6 point bump from Michelle and Hillary only. When Bill Clinton and Joe Biden and John Kerry, and Obama's big speech are factored in, I expect Obama to be ahead 10-15 percent.

Let the Republicans try to dig themselves out of that with their boring convention. No Republicans who are speaking can give as good a speech as Obama, Bill, Hillary, Biden, or Kerry, or Schweitzer.
