Re: Bill Clinton: Is the general consensus
That he did alright last night? I only caught part of his speech, and it sounded good, I thought. Hatchets all buried now?

3. No

The general consensus is that he slammed a home run. And I agree with that general consensus.

5. A lot better than I thought it would be.
I thought it was better than Hillary's. As for buried hatchets - I doubt it.

6. The "good Bill" was very much in evidence last night
and he kicked ass in the opinion of this longtime Obama supporter.

9. If Hillary hit a 5-Run Home Run,
then Bill hit a Double Grand-Slam.

10. He was superb
I'd say just a bit below Hillary, but still unbelievable. I'd say he was just a bit below Hillary because Hillary's speech was one people could emotionally connect to, while Bill's speech had more "red meat".

Hillary: 10\10
Bill: 9.5\10

11. Top form!
I was laughing my ass off at all the Hillary haters here who were wringing their hands about some sort of conspiracy deal they were expecting! LOL!!!

There's not a chance in hell the Clinton's would ever, ever do that. They still wield considerable power, and I'm very sure they have no intention of ruining that.

Hillary rocked the house! (Per Obama, and I agree!) And Big Dog ruled the night! He was absolfreakinglutely perfect!

I expected as much from them... no surprise here.

12. Both Clintons get a gold medal
and the media fell for all the bad blood stuff to keep everyone interested. Everything by script.

13. he got the biggest greeting of the night
The crowd would not stop applauding him in greeting, and he finally had to get cranky on them and tell them to sit down. That was very heart-warming. He's still the one.

16. The Clintons best speeches are when they are praising others. Then they really shine.
They both did great.

17. He stated three times that Obama was ready to be pres.
Hill and Bill pulled their speeches off and I am guessing that their bank account reflects that today. Hill was not a friend to me and I even sent her ten bucks. Way to pull a political career out of the toilet Hill! And thank you!
