If it was Reagan accepting the nomination in front of "Greek columns"
The media would be fawning all over it gushing about how he was bringing back pageantry to the presidency.
Anybody else remember that shit?

My point is, Michael Deaver made a huge point of making every fucking thing Reagan did, as big a spectacle as possible, and he was praised to the heavens for it.
