Watching Live Shots from MILE HIGH

What a friggi' party. Most of the people they are showing are not convention attendees from the Pepsi Center. These are the "real" people who are not as politically dialed in as the regular convention attendees. They are singing, dancing, waving flags, smiling and texting/talking on the phone spreadin' the good word.

This really bucks the trend of past conventions and it is so refreshing compared to what McSame will do next week. How awesome and I'm envious that I am not there.

I'm an NFL fan and everytime I look up I have to remind myself it isn't a game coming up. (That's next week sports fans!)

10. I have spent some of my best days in that stadium...and my worst....

I was there for the opening game, the Inaugural game, against the NEW YORK GIANTS.
Old Mile High was put to sleep, NEW Mile High was born.
It's LOUD there.

Tuesday morning we woke up, totally HUNGOVER from partying with New York City cops and firemen in the parking lot.
I would imagine that they woke up, and turned on the television, and had a much different reaction than I did.
WHAT GREAT GUYS.

THE PHONE RANG AND WOKE ME AND MY POUNDING HEADACHE UP.
My best friends Mom yelling at me on the phone...
"TURN ON THE TV!!THEY ARE ATTACKING US!!THEY CANCELED ALL THE FLIGHTS!!!!"
Everything has been different since that morning.
My best friend turned right wing, and I found DU and places like it.

Fuck it.

WE ARE GOING TO ROCK THE WORLD TONIGHT!
