Can you feel history in the air!
Can you sense something special! It seethes in the atmosphere. In our hearts. Pulses through our veins. We believed, we fought, and we will survive 8 years of the worst it's ever going to be.

And we're going to come out and make history in the end. Tonight, The Big O is going to rock the house so hard the whole world will feel it.

We are about to witness one of the greatest moments in world history.

I am so glad I will be able to see it. I am so glad I am on DU and will spend this evening with all of you.

14. I've been telling my kids that all week. "This is history." Of course
they're six and eight and only get it so far but I keep saying it, hoping like mad they'll remember it, just a little.

15. I remember Carter and Mondale's respective campaigns
When I was around their ages. This is so much more historic, I bet they'll always carry a little with them.
