Don't you feel high from hearing so much intelligence
in one night? It's as if I had forgotten there were any smart people in this country. We have been fed a diet of pure stupidity for so long, it's like a shot of pure oxygen hearing fine minds express themselves.

1. That's right.
I have felt like Obama is someone I'd like to talk to, but I dont think I could keep up.

2. That's it: The whole week. I could really get used to this.
The smart people are in charge. That's not elitist, as long as they have compassion, and we just proved that's no longer an issue with regular americans.

We all need this compassion. We all need it, even if we've forgotten how much we need it.

3. I told my wife that tonight - we watched PBS all night - from the
conversation of the panelists (well, except for lamebrain David Brooks) - the incredibly literate speeches (Al Gore raised all of our IQs about 30 points during his speech) - it was like spending a Sunday with the NY Times....so refreshing. So refreshing to be listening to people who are not ashamed of intellect.
