Am I the only one who noticed that the backdrop of the speech
was a replica of the back porch of the White House.

At least it sure looked that way to me.

2. I noticed the windows...
But hadn't made that particular connection...

You could well be right.

What a clever idea, if that's what they were doing.

To subliminally make us think that Obama is the President.

4. I've been harping about that exact thing since the photos were
released. It was done deliberately to make him look Presidential, to plant in people's minds that he belongs in the White House.

It had nothing to do with Greece and being a megalomaniac,it was all about looking Presidential.

5. definitely
it's the part that leads out to the Rose Garden, although Mr. Retrograde said it reminded him of the back porch at Mt. Vernon (a great place to visit, btw: it overlooks the river and has lots of chairs for sitting and contemplating the view).

Whoever thought of this subtle President Obama message - great work. I kept looking for all the Grecian columns, though...

Ha! I wonder if they will still be pushing that lame meme tomorrow? I hope there are some dumbass young republicans in togas being mocked somewhere.

8. My office building overlooks the back porch of the White House
and I had that same thought. Man, that view of the White House is going to be sweeter when it has a better occupant.
