Some misguided fool prayed for rain on Obama's speech. If the rain had come, you can bet that they would all be suggesting that God sent the rain and that he did this because he doesn't like Obama.
Well, the weather last night was absolutely perfect. Dream weather. Are these assholes concluding that God loves Obama and wants him to win now? After all, bad weather would have been positioned as a repudiation of Obama, so perfect weather must mean that God ensorses Obama, right??? :eyes:
Furthermore, this horrendous hurricane, that has the possibility of reaching Cat 4 status, could do damage to the Republicans on so many levels. It's been reported that Bush's speech may be postponed, from its original slate on Monday. A hurricane on the Gulf Coast, reminds everyone of Bush's utter failures with Katrina--when the Republicans are in the middle of their convention.
So...do these religious Republicans conclude that this hurricane is a sign from God--punishing them? Or does God only punish the Democrats with bad weather?
