John McCain could have gone with someone who had experience in Washington, someone who had taken their hits, like Joe Biden. Instead, he went for an unknown, attractive woman with a resume thinner than his own hair.

If this were about politics and actually making our country stronger and better, McCain surely would have picked someone more established than the mayor of town with a population of 5,000.

2. Did McCain put his "Country First" with this selection? NO. This was definitely a Politics First
choice.

3. I've started calling her the "anti-Hillary"
The repukes think that Palin is the answer to Dem female politicians. They are, of course, wrong.

Or...wait. Maybe they're right. I can't think of anyone more opposite Hillary than Palin! And I do mean that in a good way toward Hillary, of course.
