Ferraro: still feeding the sickness
This Might Do It for McCain

By Geraldine Ferraro
Former Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate/FOX News Political Contributor

It’s going to be a very interesting campaign. I must say that several months ago I said that it would be great if there was a woman on the ticket — that I felt that John McCain would have to pick someone, especially if Hillary was the nominee. But without Hillary being the nominee it’s really quite equally as important because people are looking for a smart campaign and I think this might do it.

There are a lot of women who are disaffected by how Hillary was treated by the media, by how she was treated by the Obama campaign, by how she was treated by the Democratic National Committee — Howard Dean not speaking up when sexism raised its ugly head in the media. They’ll be looking to see what happens now.

3. If I said what I'm really feeling about Ferraro right now
and used the words I'd like to use about her, I'd be banned from DU.

I'll just say she should dry up and blow away...

4. Im surprised McCain didnt choose Ferraro as VP
He would have a certified Republican, someone with some real experience, and a Hillary supporter all in one.

5. Like McCain, Ferraro is tragically lost in the distance past
Will someone please tell her that her only distinction in life is having dragged the Democratic party further into the ditch? She was a terrible candidate, and is a sellout to Fox and the GOP.

8. Geez. I wish they'd grow up. Does race and gender matter when the economy
is in shambles? This isn't about race or gender this is about Bush 3 vs. a new direction for the country. Paleolithic was PERSONALLY endorsed by Bush.

9. So disappointed by Geraldine Ferraro.
I was so proud of her when she ran with Mondale. She had wit and that special NY moxie. I understand her disappointment over the whole Hillary situation. It would appear that she is more comfortable in the embracing arms of the Faux News octopus and is willing to slant her positions in order to stay there.
