How many houses does Sarah Palin own?
Just curious. I like talking about the housing gaffe, so if Palin is the only thing we're allowed to talk about, I still want to squeeze that in.

4. None that I can find in a near-nationwide search by her name
Any property she owns is probably in trusts that do not include her name in the title.

5. I saw somewhere that she only owns 3. Clearly she's underqualified.
But I can't vouch for the source, as to if this is accurate ... cuz I don't remember where I saw it.

9. I agree
I thought the part about how out-of-touch McCain is was one of the highlights of Obama's speech last night. We need to hit him hard on that and the fact that he has no idea what is going on in Iraq. Or in the US economy, for that matter.

8. Palin: Three houses
http://www.politico.com/blogs/jonathanmartin/0808/Palin_Three_houses.html

Per The Center for Public Integrity:

On house ownership, the Palins can’t match the McCains’ eight homes, but her real estate portfolio is respectable, thank you very much. Palin owns three houses, according to her 2007 financial disclosure form. The forms don’t list the value of the properties, but indicate that one is residential and the other two are used for recreation.
