Repukes go crazy during Broadway's, Lion King, when the Elephant appeared!

"The Lion King was great -- a visual extravaganza. The Republican crowd (which bought out today's matinee) was very appreciative. But here's the geekiest thing they did. At one point, when animals like gazelles, giraffes and monkeys were parading onto the stage, the audience began screaming. I mean, really yelling and clapping. I thought maybe the president had snuck on stage. Nope. It was the appearance of an elephant that had them riled up. Think about it".

4. In fairness

I've seen The Lion King. The opening is the best thing in the production and the elephant is the best thing in the opening, a huge contraption propelled by three or four people down the aisle of the theater. I applauded it more than a year ago when I saw it. So did everybody else. It had no political connection then.
It's only natural, if embarrassing, that the GOP delegates went ape shit over it.
We need donkeys in the jungle.
