5. Not watching, but this sounds truly
disgusting. Could anyone give a little more detail as to the context? And are mediawhores commenting on this at all? It sounds like something that could backfire, although their to-the-bone mean spiritedness is not shocking to me.

6. They are wearing what looks like kiddie band aids
with a prurple heart on them. Get it. Kerry had minor baby wounds that needed a band aid for the boo boo. The most disgusting display ever.

8. the reporter asked if it were disrespectful of veterans
and the dingbat delegate was like "no.. its about Kerry and his actions after the war. He talks about it all the time but his record since then is more important. I think we have a wonderful president and want him reelected."

12. That was Candy Crowley asking what it was supposed to symbolize...
this string bean of a church lady type said that "we have a President that is SO BRAVE......" etc. and Kerry was only talking about Viet Nam because he was avoiding he record of the last 15-18 years....

I turned to another channel...Saw Chris Matthews saying that the issue was "who can get my kids home from school safely" and the GOP did better on it!!!! Panel inc. Scarborough, Andrea Mitchell, and that Meachem ass from either Time or Newsweek...

WHere is our "truth squad"????

13. If what I'm reading here is accurate
Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 08:37 PM by enough
which I assume that it is:

The republicans are wearing bandaids on purple hearts to indicate that John Kerry's Viet Nam medals were fraudulently won for "just a scratch."

I am coming to the point where my only thought is "IF AMERICA WANTS THESE ASSHOLES, THEY CAN HAVE THEM.'

I mean it. We can fight the Supreme Court nominees, we can fight the environmental destruction, we can fight for accountable voting, and all the other issues. There comes a point in the absolute degredation of the political process where some total change in the idea of normal has to happen.

The situation is so terrible, that there are many ways in which whoever wins this election is doomed to eternal damnation anyway. Winning, in these degenerate degraded times, could well be catastrophic success.

19. Purple Heart Band-Aids? No they do not!
Tell me it ain't so?

I want to vomit right now and I haven't even seen anyone wearing them yet. When I do see it, I will puke.

Those repukes are about the lowest form of life on this planet.

I have more respect for a roach.
