Mika: I am so much better at my job because of my children.
She just added..."I am her" referring to Palin.

Children are great but, people without children can't do a job as well?

This whole KO/Tweety thing has the MSNBC folks biting their tongues this morning but Mika just couldn't hold it in any longer.

Where's Scarborough? Is he not on this early? On a show called Morning Joe?

2. Get ready for at least two weeks of Palin fawning by the MSM
She'll get credit for the bounce and Charlie Gibson will prop her up later this week, after which people will be falling all over themselves to say how compelling and likeable she is. We need to build a new narrative to counteract the inevitable; be interesting to see how Obama plays it.

3. Mika? Maybe you are "her" but I sure as hell don't want you to be president, either.
She's clown shoes, that woman. Drives me nuts. I know a lot of DUers like her, but I think she's a bubblehead who betrays the intellectual standing of her family.

4. Mika is selling Palin as if Palin were a box of detergent
Everything about the show is geared to pulling voters (mostly females) to Palin. I'd give 10-1 odds that is why Mika is flying solo.

I was particularly impressed with how they have it coordinated with the WSJ. The Morning Joe group slamming the "liberal elite media" for picking on Palin's personal life and using an op-ed from Murdock's WSJ as their example.

6. Don't worry.
Only weirdo junkies like us actually watch this dribble. :-) It's, like, the lowest rated show on MSNBC.

I enjoy it, because wingnuts are funny, and sometimes they have Frank Rich on. :-)

Maybe then you'll be REALLY good at your job.

It's worth a try!

9. If we're any kind of parent, our children HINDER our performance....
I am a dad, and let's face it- I am NOT a better employee for it. I put my child first- not my job.

What work I have missed has been because I have needed to take care of him in some way. To say we are better at work because of our kids is ludicrous.

10. I'm guessing Mika is a woman who can afford a little help with the kids
and maybe a cleaning person to come in every so often. Of course it's easy for a woman to do the job if there is a support network. Lots of women don't have that. Everyone's circumstance is different. They are playing the "mom" angle ad nauseum and making a saint out of Palin.

12. CNN hosted a panel of moms after the Product Palin roll-out, and it was illuminating.
At least half the panel said it must be nice to have so many people to watch your kids while you go to work. The women on that panel were totally skeptical of Palin's SuperMom claims.

I'd like to see the inside of her house. It's like the Martha Stewart Effect: While she's making you feel bad about yourself while arranging flowers and being like totally terrific, the dishes are piling up and the dust is an inch thick. It must be just awesome to have household help, but that's the part they're not telling you about, right?

14. I'm sickened by the fact that there was a time when I actually *liked* Mika.
And there was a time when I pitied her (after Joe threatened to backhand her). What was I thinking?

Now I loathe her.

15. OMG! Imagine how bad she would be without them!
Mika, like George W. Bush and John McCain, is someone we would never have heard about if she had not had a famous, well connected father.

I can't believe MSNBC pays her, instead of the reverse.
