McCain will be a very bad choice, as we know. Let's not get too hung up on Palin. Keep pushing the McCain agenda as bad for America. Let Sarah fall back into obscurity.

1. Once the TRUTH about Palin is exposed (forget the kids) McCain is toast.
Exposing Palin is necessary to show that McCain is LYING to the American Public about them being the reform/change team.

3. Consequences

McCains quote "I make them (decisions) as quickly as I can, quicker than the other fellow, if I can. Often my haste is a mistake, but I live with the consequences without complaint."

Living with the consequences of his own mistakes is fine, but can the country afford to live with the consequences of what even John McCain describes as the mistakes that often result from his hasty decision-making?

4. When McCain makes an appearance and the crowd keeps chanting "Sar-ah!," I think we need to address
the issues surrounding Palin just as vociferously as the ones surrounding McCain.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the Republican base.

Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air to their dying, wrinkled white party and they care more about how she looks
than how she thinks.

This is what, to me, is totally frightening. They don't care that everything out of her mouth is a lie, only
that she looks good while saying it.

Somehow, we have to make people understand how dangerous both McCain and Palin are for this country.

5. Obscurity?
Like the obscurity enjoyed by all Vice Presidential candidates? She's on the ticket. 5 months from now she could be President. I've been through many elections, and most of us are able to oppose the entire Republican ticket. We don't have some special love for one of them.
What you say is ignore Palin on our side, while she hits the cover of Time and Newsweek. Obscurity is not in the cards until we defeat her and McBush in November.
So she's not falling back into obscurity, we have to send her back to obscurity by winning the election.

8. I think we ignore her at our peril.
She is the one pulling in crowds and enthusiasm. She's the one who's instructed to lie about and go after Obama. I think we need to handle them both?
