Will Pitt interviews a wavering Bush supporter
Very interesting...proof that protesters can change hearts and minds:

Go to http://www.truthout.org/rnc04.shtml and click on "Tricia with William Pitt" in the right-hand column....

1. Sad that many people are like this. "I like it that he's a family man,
seems like a loyal man." Keeroist.

4. yep
i was talking to a bush leaning undecided friend of mine, sweetest and nicest girl you'll ever met, but comes from a very conservative VERY religious suburban background...tonight i asked her to name 3 very important issues...

abortion
marriage
taxes

i don't blame her though...she's had 20 years of having the right pumped into her head by her dad (who is a wingnut if i have ever met one)

coke and banged enough strippers and is ready for this holy pious routine now.

18. No need to pity her--that kind of honesty makes her very mature
She had the right seeds planted in her head Sunday. I think she'll find her way.

9. God, that was actually kind of sad. I do feel sorry for
the people who have come to realize that they have been had; that's not a good feeling at all. I only hope this girl and many more can open their eyes and hearts and come to the conclusion that their party - no, not their party - that this administration is wrong not only for America, but for the entire world.

19. I felt the same way
Instead of getting mad at her, all I could think of when I listened to her newly-formed doubt, is sadness at how she has been deceived along with millions of other Americans.

12. proof that the truth can set you free?
This youngster is in for a world of hurt if she is from whiteous rural America and has to return to it. She got a taste of the truth and if she is lucky will never return.
