Is anyone else watching the RNC?
none of them are giving any reasons to why we should vote for bush. Well, or really crappy reasons.

6. Yeah, I was watching CNN for about five seconds
And they managed to find five separate black people in the room.

On the upside, Michael Moore is there, and waved and tipped his hat to the crowd as they booed him during McCain's speech. Whatever you're going to say about Moore, the man has balls. HUGE ones.

25. nobody is happy he's there
he's not, and the wingnuts are not. Which just proves that Bush does not have the heartfelt support of the most popular Republican in America and the most popular politician after Big Dog.

McCain obviously hates shrub's guts. You can see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice. I bet he went to the restroom and puked after his speech.

Media is giving MUCH more time to all things RW than they did for our convention too.

McCain is using talking points from B.Obama, to some degree. How original. :Grr:

20. Nope. I'm actually enjoying my evening
Watching Last COmic Standing.

I think I had the RNC convention on for maybe 20 minutes. I had the same problem as when George Bush is on my screen: I can't watch or pay attention. I have this built-in avoidance mechanism that somehow protects me. Just can't do it.

21. I've tried, just a bit, to watch some news today....but I can't stomach it
I watched the Lehrer news hour - was surprised that the interview with Hagel and some not nearly as swift Repuke woman was fairly hard hitting, and Hagel admitted that the war was an issue for *. Then, we had interviews with some delegates - my God, what a bunch of lemming imbeciles! When it got to Brooks and Shields, I gave up - what a mass brainwashing, what a total whitewash the past 4 years has been....have people just given up? or Given in? All the BS about McCain, his "High standars", his popularity - where do these talking heads get their opinions? (I know, from Rove)....

This monster is not, and never will be my president. I've grown bitter, I've grown to despise all conservatives and all Republicans. I don't think that I can stand to watch ANY of this circus...wake me on election day! And please tell me that Kerry is ahead in the polls.

24. So far, our convention was way better
And more interesting. 9/11 widows notwithstanding. The fact that the republicans have claimed September 11th as their own is somewhat frustrating.

26. I was, but it was awful, so I switched
right after they started talking about the band aids with purple hearts affixed. Not only is the convention the stupidest thing I have ever seen, but the purple heart idiocy is abominable.

Who in hell was in charge of this convention? Could you believe the dopey, token black, flag-draped, microphone-laden, stepford excuse for a woman with the dopey, fake, effusive, claptrap garbage, spewing like a fast-flowing river out of her cheesecake-smiling mouth? She was only slightly worse than the one that preceded her and the one who came after. Honestly, this is pure sleaze.

OK, OK, I guess that was effusive, but honestly the only thing that has been passable from the time I tuned in were the patriotic military anthems. They always get to me. I have five brothers who all served honorably and we were very proud of them. I will probably watch some more later, but right now I can take no more.

BTW, are we going to let them get away with this band aid-purple heart shit? I am totally disgusted.

29. I watched the Gatlin brothers this morning and it was too much

for me.

When ever my dog sees other dogs on TV he jumps at the TV to get a better look.

One time he barked at Chimp! That was a riot. I suppose my dog has heard me cuss * out so much that he knew it was The Enemy.

Anyway, my dog was barking at the TV this morning and I came to take a look. It was the Gatlin brothers singing the opening patriotic song. Each was dressed in a different color jacket, one was red and I can't remember the other two horrible colors. They did not blend!

The years, IMO, have not been kind to their voices. My dog agreed with me because he barked until they finished the song.

No. They have always sucked. For decades they have sounded like a geriatric barbershop quartet with no access to batteries for their hearing aids.

Awful.

Horrible.
