2. Notice Iowa and Pennsylvania, though.
With the way it's set up, if Kerry wins just Iowa and Pennsylvania, he'll have (triumphant music) 270 EV's.

7. you damn straight. The map still looks good for Kerry as he can simply
become a "resident" of two or three battle ground states coming up to the election. I think Bush will have to travel to many more places to hold his "lead." I actually think those polls are bullshit.

I like the electoral-vote.com site but I wish they had polling size and dates WITH the poll's source.

3. Fine Print at electoral-vote.com
"However, it is worth noting that pollsters aren't always neutral and within the law always do what the client asks for. Strategic Vision normally works only for Republicans and results like these that contradict results from other pollsters in so many states do raise some eyebrows."

10. Polls are polls and have some value but
history and regional party identification generally rule the roost. Kerry will win PA, IA, and WI for 264. Add NV to get to 269. The TN poll is an outlier and the state is unlikely for Kerry IMO. I see it as 269 for Kerry with one more state needed for victory. Pick your favorite: FL, OH, MO, WV, AZ, AR, TN, VA, NC

11. all based on Strategic Vision
you know the polling outfit that had California within 3 points. He also doesn't update the site with the polls from Ohio that had the race tied there. Strategic Vision is a joke.

12. You can't worry about polls like this
Its as simple as this. Kerry needs minorities and young people to come out big for him to win. If they stay home and don't vote. Oh well........

13. Bush's high water mark
let's ride this purple heart band-aid mocking the wounded soldiers coming back from Iraq. Boy, the GOP sure knows how to disrespect the soldiers.

19. Oh, Come On...
...the Purple Heart bandaids are juvenile, but everybody in America knows they're aimed at Kerry, not returning vets. Wasting outrage on something like this is what hurt Kerry in the first place.

14. Barely Kerry = 43 | Barely Bush = 98 | Tied = 16 | Still On The Bubble...
but could easily break Kerry's way.

At least, that's MY spin for the day.

16. Swift Boat Liars
If Bush wins because of them it proves that money and willing liars will win an election. We knew that but this is sterling proof. They have been proven to be liars (Thurlow, O'Neill) or flip floppers (Elliot) but the truth is drowned out by chest thumping righters. It is so depressing.
