About Bush's AFR assignment to Denver 1973.
When I saw his outprocessing papers (Form ANG22) It showed his next duty station as 3800 York, Denver Co. 80205. I drive by there on the way to work every day. So I got intrigued as to what it was back years ago. Today it's a bank, and a redevelopment zone.. It's now a historical landamark....

Now, as a medical facility, could Bush have been re-assigned to it for some kind of substance abuse, remedial help or training? What is a "Medical Depot" anyway?

I've talked to a few long time Denverites who say that it had many uses, including as a records depository. In 1996 or '97, The supposed depository caught on fire, and yards/lawns had to be cleared because of asbestos poisoning. I was also told that there were no military records in the building when it caught fire, that it was just the building itself that caught fire.

Now about Georgie... I have heard rumors that he was supposed to have been ordered here to fullfill some kind of punishment duty, and he never showed up. What was he being punished for? I also heard a contradictory story that he was just put on AF Reserve, "incative status" and went back to Harvard, and the form 22 just showed where his records were placed, and his service was completed.

We also heard the red-herring about how his records burnt up in some kind of archive restoration mishap, only to find out some new records were found 3 weeks later. I found it interesting that they would say this, knowing that the building had caught fire 8 years ago....but no records remained there when the blaze broke out.

Could somebody with more intimate knowledge on Bush's* final year clear some of this up?

For reference, here's the ANG form 22 again...

1. I guess people are whining too much about band-aids to find some dirt.

3. How long was it from when he supposedly
was discharged, to when he started Harvard Business School? Is there a gap?
