2. Full frontal lobotomy
and a signed contract with the American people that he will sit in a corner and drool while his newly appointed VP - Howard Dean - runs the country for him.

I might consider it then.

3. That, unfortunately, is not a viable medical option

as any destruction of remaining brain activity might cease
involuntary muscle activity. He'll go from falling off bikes
to forgetting to breath.

I just want * to retire to Crawford. And to be chased around the
pig farm by a large herd of horses for the rest of his life.

4. I told him how George could win my vote
George W. Bush has the possibility of winning my vote. It's really very simple what he must do. All that is necessary is for him to alter the course of weather patterns in such a way as to cause HELL TO FREEZE OVER!!!

9. I wrote that there was no way he could win my vote
after having sacrificed 976 troops on the basis of lies meant to cover neo-con fantasies, after having botched the "war on terror" so badly, decimated the environment, threatened the economy in the present and into the far future with reckless spending, blah blah blah, the entire litany of failure.

I think people should try to get in on this fun, and see if he and his fleet of whores and shills actually try to respond to any of it on the 5 pm show.

Edited on Tue Aug-31-04 12:05 PM by PA Democrat
I said that some of us were paying attention despite a complacent media, and that I knew that Bush could not be trusted to live up to his promises.

11. I told him already last night.
Last night I told him, but I didn't copy what I said. It was something to the effect of "Even if God himself endorsed Bush, which is unlikely now that the Repubs have desecrated all the memories of the dead 9/11 victims, I still wouldn't vote for him."

I wrote. You decide. :P

"To vote or not vote for President Bush is a performance evaluation of both the President and his administration. Based on that performance, there is nothing that he can do to "win" my vote."

18. My email was great, wish I saved it!
I went on and on about basically changing his entire personality but I didn't say it that way, said he would have to apologize to every parent for the children who died in unjust war, change his environment laws, stop the tax cuts, fire rumsfield, cheney, rice, ashcroft,

I went on and on of all the things I thought it would honestly take for me to vote for him. Basically he would have to become a new person!!

26. Here's what I wrote:
(with regards to the poster who wrote WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER)

Win my vote? Are you kidding?
Let's see...
GW Bush's administration has:
Withdrawn from the ABB treaty and the Kyoto Treaty...

Refused to fund any offshore clinics that even mention abortion; a death
sentence to millions that count on such clinics for healthcare support...

Abandoned science in favor of religious beliefs...

Said that "God speaks through him"...

Taken our surplus and turned it into a trillons deficit...

Supported offshoring US jobs...

Lost millions of US jobs...
Undone our civil liberties...

Imprisoned thousands without family contact, attorney contact, or defense...

Supported the Pentagon in its TORTURE policies in Iraq and Afghanistan...

Lied about WMD...

Lied about funding "No Child Left Behind"...

Supported "moutaintop removal" for coal mining...

Rescinded legislation of pollution laws...

Suggests privatization of Social Securitiy...

Cut unemployment benefits...

Cut Veteran's benefits...

Cut health care benefits for war veterans...

Dissolved more international treaties than any president in history...

Advocated and acted on the "pre-emptive war doctrine" a total reversal of
the United States previous position on war...

Ordered an attack AND military occupation of a sovereign nation against the
will of the United Nations and the vast majority of the international
community...

Had a lifetime contributor to my campaign who presided over one of the
biggest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history to which I turned my
back and DID NOTHING...

In less than a year has turned the goodwill expressed to the United States
after 9-11 into resentment...

Has had a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view his presidency as the
biggest threat to peace and world stability...

Rendered the United Nations IRRELEVANT...

Withdrawn from the World Court of law...

Stonewalled the 9-11 commission; refused to testify under oath or alone...

Refused to condemn defamation of character attacks on my opponent (thereby
condoning such ads)...

Told the American people that this is an endless war that we can't win...
the next day said we can win this war...

Set the record for the most campaigning trips and the fewest press
conferences in US history...

Has diverted and under-staffed our armed forces in Afghanistan...

Has sent our troops into battle without the latest body armor for
protection...

I could go on...
But to answer your question,
I suppose GW Bush would have to change the weather patterns so that hell
would freeze over before I vote for him.

28. The Vaudevill act continues

Did Wolf do a poll like this for Kerry during the DNC?

The motive of the poll is to “influence” people to start thinking from the perspective that Bush is the best or dare I say ONLY candidate and all he must do is “appeal” to people.

Further, this sounds also fishy from the standpoint that CNN is “working for” Bush’s re-election. They do a poll and ask “how can Bush get your vote.” Naturally, a lot of serious minded people will respond with serious answers. These can then be funneled to the Reps or simply acquired easily and Bush can then simply respond to the talking points appropriately.

This type of polling is bullshit. I can live with this type of poll on a pro-Bush website, but not an objective news service.
