Bush is once again using 9/11 as a platform
to try and squeeze the fear out of the American public to get a vote!
It makes me sick, how many times is he going to get away with it!!

1. Welcome to DU step_in_az
:hi:

I agree. I really do feel sick about it this morning. We knew they (the RNC) would do this when they announced their convention would be in NYC. They are just in-your-face sickening and I wish more people would speak out about it.

2. I wonder if there will be a backlash
They might be going a little too far with the 9/11 thing. I would love to see Kerry or moveon.org come out with an ad quoting Bush saying that he wouldn't exploit 9/11 for political gain.

3. I really don't understand why....
That tragedy happened on Bush's watch
and he was forewarned and did nothing to
alert all the different agencies to be
on watch.
Bush knew about the first plane before
he stepped into the schoolroom, but sat
during the book reading, then sat a longer
time after Card whispered the country was
under attack.
He then stayed for 20 more minutes for
photo ops.
He then disappeared into Air Force One which
took him across the country away from
DC and any real leadership (for just
appearance sake in the least) He showed
up back in the capitol at 7 in the evening.
Rumsfeld sat in his office for 2 hours
and didn't scramble planes via NORAD.

There really isn't anything for Republicans
to honor about 9/11 except the courage of
real Americans who tried to save others that
day. Even the Port Authority should be shamed
by keeping people inside the second tower.

I find this really incredulous. It just reminds
us of how empty and hypocritical Republicans
are...borrowing the stories of others because
their own are less than truthful.

4. Did the GOP
Even ONCE mention BIN LADEN?..........or Saudi Arabis the country the hi-jackers came from?.....or the Pakistan border where Bin Laden is probably hiding?

So much for this bunch to catch the real terrorists........
