I had to stop listening to the coverage I was so infuriated. I actually had to stop myself from screaming and ranting at my radio.

They talked up 9/11 like it was only for them

They demeaned a purple heart recipient

I listend to someone I used to have respect for totally abandon his pride

the list goes on and on

I know I am not the only one like this but I would like to hear the thoughts of others too and catch up on what else I missed.

1. Of course not but in the Virtual Reality of Imperial TV Pravda
that means the Democartic Convention was "meanspirited".

Our nation has gone insane. It has been this way for a long time now, and we are now getting our freedom taken from us like candy from a baby by the first ones who had the balls to do it.

2. As bad as it was, take heart that they were putting on the compassionate
face. They want to appeal to undecided voters such soccer moms, and they open up with 15 minutes about exacting revenge and militarism. If this is their idea of moderate speech, they are woefully out of touch with people in this country.

That show last night was not appealing to mothers with young children who don't want to hear about a nation committing itself to unending wars. Most people in this country prefer not to see people killed, either their own families or even those of people in far off lands.

The Republicans should quit trying to appeal to people that are intelligent. They should have followed up the Marine Hymn with Onward Christian Soldiers, and just sell to their base.
