Doug Gillett with the Alabama for Kerry Campaign says, "You hear all the people and all the pundits talk about how Alabama isn't a battleground state, no one is going to be campaigning here, but that couldn't be further from the truth. We've been campaigning actively ever since the middle of February here for Kerry."
Gillett believes Kerry can win Alabama.
He said, "That's one of the things that the 'Kerry van' makes people realize is that Bush has no campaign here. They're taking the votes of the people of this state for granted. And as a person who's proud to be from Alabama, that offends me."
