Fox News HQ surrounded by protestors / police

The protest, a "Shut Up A Thon" is under way now at 47th and Sixth Avenue. Protestors continue to stream into the area but the police will not allow people to congregate outside of one zone.

Reps from Code Pink were clearly present with their trademark outfits. A line of drummers stands across the street and the corwd chants "Shame on Fox" "Fox News Lies" and similar.

Many news outlets are present, most notably ABC 7. Will be interesting to see if and how Fox covers this event.

The page says the march was scheduled to being at 7PM TOMORROW. I Guess they changed their minds because they knew the cops would be waiting.

7. Yes I was just out there

but I'm working today so had to come back. I'm dressed for work so I stood right beside the cops while they hassled "hippies" about blocking sidewalk traffic. Of course the only people on the sidewalk were cops, protestors, media and people who wanted to stand around and watch.

Saw people asking cops what was going on and they would smile or laugh out loud when the cops told them. There is a guy dressed as a carrot with a sign that says "Eat Me!" It is awesome.

14. Just heard from a friend that is down at fox news protest....

she said, there are a few thousand protesting and they are penned up.
