Christ, people, the doom-n-gloom is getting old. We're in good shape. We always knew it was going to be close, and we knew they were going to throw dirt. They say they're firing the afterburners after the convention, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. We've still got 2 Months to go. Bush has a helluva lot of negatives working against him; we've got plenty of reasons to stay energized and work all that much harder, but I don't think we have any reasons to get depressed.

Their whole schtick is smoke and mirrors

but there are cracks in the mirror. Booing Michael Moore like they did means they KNOW the effect F 911 has had on public opinion. They are also pandering to their base instead of reaching to moderates-anyone who doesn't think so needs to read their platform. The protests were quite effective as well, showing people around the country that it is ok to question Bush and what he has done.

3. It's going to be a long 2 months,

I do have a feeling that the Kerry/Edwards campaign will come out hitting hard starting Thursday night after the chimp's speech.
