Let's see Chuck Todd you incompetent dingle berry!
McCain/Palin are campaigning together because McCain can't draw any crowds on his own. How fucking hard is that to see. Stop playing with your fucking board and figure it out you ASSHOLE!

1. I hate to admit it but I agree with him a little bit on this
Edited on Mon Sep-15-08 04:56 PM by thecorrection
I like that Joe is capable of going out on his on but it would be smart for them to team up and be seen as the capable team they are in some of these closer states. It would also solve the problem of Joe getting absolutely NO coverage. At least if he campaigned now and again with Obama, he'd get some air time.

It's not for me to second-guess their strategy but their is some value in Todd's suggestion.

2. I thought both him and Tweety were right on that...
Obama and Biden should spend a little more time campaigning together.

3. Todd and the MSM dont want Obama to ustilize the advantage...
......of having a VP nominee who can stump independently from Obama.

With McCain so pitiful he cant draw without Palin next to him, he's at a disadvantage of only covering one event at a time while Obama and Biden can split up and get twice the coverage.

Dont fall for it, this is just another MSM attempt to tie Obama down.

4. It doesn't tie him down at all, it shows them as a team, it shows the chemistry
they have together and that's NEVER a bad thing. They can still cover lots of ground but why not stump together once or twice a week? Why not hold a weekly town hall together so voter's can get to know Joe. It would only help him, not hurt him.

6. Hurricane Ike
I believe the dynamic Democratic duo actually was scheduled to appear together in a rally a few days ago, but they dialed it back in the wake of Ike. Hopefully, they'll reschedule a dual appearance soon. Not a lot, because I think they cover more ground (and score good local coverage) separately, but I do like seeing them together from time to time, too.

9. Occasionally is fine, but I bet he wants it to happen as long as McCain needs Palin
Seriously, the MSM isnt trying to be helpful, they are trying to erase an advantage Obama has.

5. Todd is correct. When they campaign together it creates more
sizzle. Remember Clinton Gore Road Trips and what great phot-ops.

Obama would be better off if he and the Clintons hit those battleground
states together.

8. may be a good point, but I still had some problems with it coming from Chuck Todd.
Chuck Todd made it sound like it was completely dumb to split the two up, but I remember when Biden was first announced, Chuck Todd was gushing about how Obama could "send" Biden places so he could make the case for Obama, to people who didn't "get" Obama yet, while Obama could go other places.......and I didn't really understand his reasoning. He said that places where people could be using "color" (his words, not mine) as a block that prevents them for voting for Obama, would be more inclined to vote for Obama if Biden was WITH him, which would "validate" Obama.....ok, so according to him and Tweety, the key to getting the racist vote is to turn it into a "Buddy cop film". Fucking unbelievable.

11. joe got airtime today on msnbc
he did a good job. palin does so much of the same speech that they cut her air time. they did not show the crowd but, you could tell her crowd was small. biden did great-union folk surrounded him. he also announced senator carl levin lost his wife i think. they can cover more ground apart. we don't need to get to know sen biden, we have known him for years.
