VA: Obama +6 (51 to 45, Survey USA)
MN: Obama +8 (52 to 44, Rasmussen)
NJ: Obama +9 (51 to 42, ARG)
WI: Obama +5 (50 to 45, ARG)

Today's National Presidential Polls:
Rasmussen: Obama +1 (48 to 47) second day in a row
Gallup: Obama +4 (48 to 44) 5th day in a row with 4+ greater lead
Hotline: Obama +5 (47 to 42)
Research 2000: Obama +6 (49 to 43)

Senate Poll Shocker for Today:
NC: Hagan +6 (51 to 45, Rasmussen)

5. Hagan is REALLY Doing It

If Spasmussen has her up six, then she's definitely, assuredly up. And I see no reason why Liddy Doldrum would come back at this point - - she's vapid, uninspiring, and has no record to run on whatsoever. She just counted on name recognition and being "from" North Carolina keeping her there indefinitely.

Same poll had Barack down in NC by only three. All of this means that NC is close and that VA is probably Obama's. :bounce:
