Won't Obama replace Paulson anyways?
I'm not sure what to make of Paulson requesting so much power. Won't he be replaced by Obama if/when he wins the presidential election? Or could this be another type scheme by the Bush administration to lock their guys in like they've done with the Iraq team?

If Paulson will be replaced by an Obama administration, does anyone have a good guess as to who Obama would tap has his Treasury Secretary?

Also... I'm sick of hearing what Wall Street Paulson's plan is anyways... Has Buffet or Volcker or someone that knows what they're doing spoke up yet?

4. I didn't really mean it that way.
I wasn't trying to say anything along the lines of "it can't hurt that bad". I'm actually hoping they can stall this thing (because I wouldn't doubt Paulson is full of it) until Obama can get a guy in with some sort of understanding and credibility on this issue. But that would mean congress would have to step up and stop one of these "emergency" bills for once.
