9. yeah, turned it on for a sec and got pissed.
Chris was talking about how Obama is Mr. Elite. And then Pat was talking about how "outstanding" McCain conducted himself in the meeting (really? I heard he was smirking and silent...) and that he will only run into problems if Obama is able to "erase the image that he has created by things he has said, that have ended up in attack ads. Not one of us!...McCain might have to jab him a little"

16. I love Obama, BUT...
to be perfectly honest and objective, he usually takes 20 words for an answer that should have taken 5 words, and 100 words for an answer that should have been 10 words. His sentences are just too long and indefinite for the average American voter. He needs to take the quickest path to an answer, not the scenic route through dictionary-land.

American voter with the attention span of a flea.

25. isn't it amazing how we, as a nation, decide things?
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 06:29 PM by unblock
let's think now, how do we spend a trillion dollars this year?
should we go to war?
what countries should we attack?
should we be capitalists or socialists?
what crimes should we make illegal?
how should we make medical care available to all?

i know, let's let the brilliant former harvard law review editor that draws huge audiences and has the country really excited and hopeful for the first time in a very long time and who can speak cogently and persuasively on any matter of public policy.

NAH, HE'S TOO COLD! probably secretly wears earthtones, too. let's give all that awesome power to the old coot who had his brain warped by torture and half a decade of confinement after crashing his fifth plane, and who selected a complete dingbat as his successor.

McCain may have some warmth but it's more like the warmth of something that's been left out in the sun too long and is starting to go rancid.

28. *yawn* People are actually shocked about the MSM
going after Obama pre-debate? Seriously?

Remember, these assholes make their bread and butter on ratings and a huge lead for a candidate means shitty ratings because viewers assume the candidate with the huge lead is going to win. Obama has been opening a wide gap in a lot of polls, excepting Gallup, so of course the pundits are going to bash the shit out of Obama and praise McCain.

The closer the polls are, the higher the viewership, the higher the ratings, the higher they can charge for advertising time.

And people saying "ignore the pundits".. well DUH, of course we will, but the low information voters out there who get all their politics from the MSM are going to be watching this and letting jerkoffs like Tweety, Dobbs and Wolfie determine their vote.

Be prepared to work twice as hard tomorrow for Obama as any of you did today.

36. I hear ya. It's a lot like
a sports game where one team is way out front and the announcer and the color commentator try to keep you watching. "There's still a lot of game left"...."anything can happen".....etc.

Yeah, I hear that.

I'm just saying it annoys the crap out of me.

in an effort to try to help in a weird way. I think that he thinks that that the one thing that would ensure his victory is really connecting with low and middle class white people, so he's always looking for it.
