I am most worried about the two weeks before the election
That's after the debates and after the markets have stabilized (to the extent that they will). At that point, expect the Republicans to unleash every awful attack they can: Rezko, Wright, Ayers, and others. They will play the race card, link him to terrorists, imply he's a Muslim, question his citizenship. They will suggest he does drugs, sold drugs, and link him to anyone dark skinned and shady they possibly can. They will play the race card in a way that makes Willie Horton look like Little Orphan Annie. They will make up new shit, and use their 527s to run blatantly racist ads and push poll with terrible lies. They will use whatever connections they have to make sure black communities get broken voting machines or not enough voting machines. They will stage some sort of October surprise. Fox News will be John McCain 24 hours/day, except when they are bashing Obama. The Republicans will be desperate and use whatever tactics they need to win. The Obama campaign will have it's work cut out. I hope they are very well prepared for that onslaught.

1. I think that the majority of voters will have made up their minds by then.
And those who would be swayed by racist attacks probably wouldn't have voted for Obama anyway.

I just feel that we'll do well - and win. I really do.
