Thinking back about his history, I wonder if it is all karma with a little revenge thrown in. I mean, all of us know some smart ass like Bush who always cut corners and had head starts, so maybe his utter failure is life's way of kicking him right in the ass. Going down in history, which he will, as one of the worst presidents, might be his comeuppance.

I agree with you on the receiving votes thing - anyone paying attention in 2000 should have realized that, yes indeedy, every company he'd ever been in charge of went bankrupt, belly up, or otherwise got fucked, and a few were bailed out only by Poppy pleading to his rich Saudi friends.
