So the Senate is set to vote on a new bailout bill today.
I'm learning new things about the legislative process every day, it would seem. I thought bills were born in the House and then went on to the Senate if they passed. Now it seems the engine has been thrown into reverse. The Senate made a slightly different bill, but I assume it still needs House votes, correct? How does that happen? I feel like an idiot with this stuff sometimes. lol

1. It's the "RAPE AMERICA'S TREASURY ACT OF 2008" that they're voting on.
No help for American families, just hand over gobs of cash to the same people who took advantage of no oversight and no regulation and caused this crisis.

And they wonder why the American people have such little trust in our government. Look in the mirror, Congress: YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!

2. Someone said last night that they are attaching
it to a bill that was already in committee is how they can make a bailout bill.
