Don't let up. Don't be cowed by their intimidation. THey are screeching and angry because there is a high probability you could ask her anything and she'll screw it up. SHe is functionally not very bright. And THEY have staked their reputations on her. Ask her why the sky is blue. She'll give you a rambling answer about how climate change is not reponsible for man's folly. Ask her what her policy view is of gay marriage and she'll tell you that she knows from her gay friend that you can't "catch the gay"--it is taught to you in liberal city schools.

It was horrific people like Don Imus that said Gwen Ifill looks like a housekeeper. TIme to use your steely resolve to hold both of them to the honest intent of the debate--answer questions about their views which America is interested in.

Supposedly Palin has Experience(tm), is a great debater, is able to handle herself in all sorts of situations, is a Feminist(tm) who wants nothing special because of her chromosomes/sex organs, but she can't handle herself in an interview, and needs all sorts of concessions for a "debate", including not actually being able to debate.

Yah just can't have it both ways. As Wesley said "Life isn't fair".

6. Attacking Ifill is a tactic, and I'm afraid it will work to Palin's, already unbelievable,

advantages tomorrow night. Ninety second answers don't leave much room for rambling or babbling. I have no doubt she will deliver her script flawlessly. Gwen will be the big loser tomorrow night. I've always thought of Gwen Ifill as conservative, and I could be wrong about that. But she is best friends with Condie, and the one interview I saw of her with Cheney, she literally seemed to be gushing (perhaps that's my own bias).

Be prepared for a McCain/Palin bump after the bar has been lowered so much, and the media has been sufficiently intimidated by the McCain campaign, Tom Brokaw is a perfect example of this.
