Prayer Thread for Today's Debate (Unbelievable)
From Freeperville:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted on Tuesday, October 07, 2008 1:20:33 PM by unspun

Please post prayers and blessings for the American People and John McCain related to tonight's debate with Barack Obama.

Protect your own, open mouths to tell the truth, open ears to hear it, open hearts to receive and reflect and be motivated by the truth!

Protect, sustain, and EMPOWER your servant John McCain tonight, through this election, through your plans for him in over the next five years, and throughout his life.

Bless his family and Sarah Palin and their family. Guard, in your armor -- move the sword of your very Word through their hands!

Your's is the victory!

Move in the camp of the enemy too. Confound the adversary's cause and plans. Let the adherents to it work against their own plans.

God, we do not know all of the temporal future you have in store for this nation, America, but we know it is very special in your heart and in your eye. Let it stand for your Jerusalem on this earth and in the one to come.

Let We the People who are called by our names humble ourselves and be vessels overflowing of the grace and power of your loving intentions for this entire world. Even so, cause us to bear good fruit for Eternity.

And let this powerful work of your Eternal Kingdom be manifest tonight during this presidential debate -- in matters great or mundane.

Yours is the victory!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just unbelievable!!!!

So be it.

29. Read the prayer...it saide "enemies" which appeared general..where as the other said..."camp" which
appears more specific...as if they were referring to Obama's camp. Obama has enemies within the Dem party, like De Rothschild, at least in my opinion. That prayer also didn't call Obama a servant of the Lord, either. It appeared a general protection prayer.

Just my opinion.

14. The startling difference between "us" and "them"
We were praying for protection for Senators Obama and Biden, and their families.

They are praying that the "enemy" be "defeated."

Speaks volumes to me.

28. Witchcraft and Wicca are interchangeable to many people.
I agree with your main point that it is unChristian to pray for someone else to fail. If you cast a spell for someone to fail that is black magic.

33. Magic and religion have nothing in common at all.

When practicing magic one uses candles, symbols and chants in an attempt to influence the forces of Nature.

When practicing religion one uses candles, the Cross and Prayers in an attempt to influence the forces of Heaven.

See? Nothing in common whatsoever.

They are praying for John McCain to tell the truth. I hope there's a God to answer that prayer!!!!!

24. jeezus effing criminy
For those unfamiliar, this is code, and an affirmation, indicating a whole new escalation of "Dominion" Theology.

"Enemy" and "adversary" are synonyms for Satan. Referring to the U.S. as the "Jerusalem" is EXTREMELY horrifying.

They are announcing that U.S. fundamentalists are "spiritual Jews," God's chosen people. They are indicating that Christ, as it were, is returning and that "the Bride," (the Church), as referred to in prophecy, being prepared for that return, is THEM.

This is the kind of mentality that the South African Boers used to justify every excess of Apartheid.

Thinking of Democrats as the "enemy" is especially pernicious.

We don't have anything like a normal political foe, in these people. These aren't Republicans anymore.

It's very frikkin creepy to see this, with all the foaming at the mouth Palin is inspiring...

I pray every night for our country and that God will help people see thru the vicious lies and embrace the truth.

My Nanny used to say...There will never be a "perfect" person to be President...the only perfect person is in Heaven and he has NO desire to be in politics! :)

39. My prayer...
Dear God,

I'm an atheist so if you can do this it would be really almost unbelievalbe but if you could. At the moment when Senator Obama says something about that time when McCain said the fundamentals of our economy are strong and that the McCain camp has turned the page on the economic issues could you have his head explode in anger or really just have him Leap at Obamas' throat yelling about how some trumped up jive turkey jr senator isn't going to steal his election.

I'll become a believer. Not a radical one, I'm kind of laid back that way, but I'll say Props big Guy. From now on.

Amen.
